TD Summer Reading Club
For all kids ages 3-12.
Kids (and their caregivers) can participate anytime, anywhere – at local public libraries across Canada as well as at home, online, on the road or wherever their summer takes them.
Participants can explore recommended reads; track their own reading; join in activities; collect reading incentives; write jokes, stories and book reviews, and more.

Wiggles & Giggles
For babies 0-12 months and their caregivers.
Connect, sing, tickle, play, and dance with your little one. Enjoy time to chat with other new parents and enjoy experiences with parachute play, music, and bubbles.
Toddler Time
Ideal for children ages 12-24 months.
Bring your curious toddler. We will sing, dance, read, and make music together during circle time, then explore art and play with a variety of toys.
Library Storytime
Ideal for children ages 2-4 years.
An engaging story experience filled with songs, rhymes, and play. An introduction to early literacy and school readiness skills will support your developing preschooler.
Preschool Gym (by the Township of Essa)
For kids ages 5 and under with parent/caregiver.
Open playtime in the gymnasium runs from weekly on Wednesdays & Fridays from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm through the Township of Essa.
Play with soft blocks, balls, hula hoops, balance stones and more. Entry is free for preschoolers ages 5 & under and their caregivers.
Join Miss Karly Fridays @ 11 am-12pm for musical fun and a chance to get those wiggles out.
French Storytime
Ideal for children ages 2-4 years.
A Storytime program that introduces new language to all those interested in an early exposure to French.
Come along for a program with Miss Karly – full of familiar tunes and plenty of physical props to help engage new learners.
Spanish Storytime
Ideal for children ages 1-4 years.
Hola! Join Ariana to sing, dance, play music, and read a story all while introducing a sprinkling of Spanish language.
All are welcome, no spanish language skills needed to attend.
Curious Kids
For families with kids 5-8 years old.
Curious Kids is a hands-on program for kids ages 5-8.
Join bi-weekly for activities such as playdough, crafts, fun challenges, and simple science experiments that spark wonder and imagination.
Songs & Stories
For families with kids 2-5 years old.
Songs & Stories is an early literacy programs, best fit for kids ages 2-5 years old.
Join Ariana for songs, rhymes, flannel board activities and stories to delight families with young children.
