Membership
If you reside in or pay taxes to Essa Township, bring identification to create your free library membership.
Members of the Base Borden community also qualify for free membership, as do Adjala-Tosorontio residents because of a Library Services Contract with their municipality.
Non-resident membership
If you do not live in Essa Township, Adjala-Tosorontio Township, or a reciprocal library area (see below), you may purchase an annual Essa Public Library membership card for $50.
Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements exist with: Clearview Public Library, Georgian College Library, Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, New Tecumseth Public Library, Penetanguishene Public Library, Ramara Public Library, Severn Township Public Library (includes Oro-Medonte), Springwater Public Library and Tay Township Public Library.
