Governance
Essa Public Library Board is a corporation under the Public Libraries Act R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER P.44 (PLA).
The Library Board is responsible for the governance of the Library.
Directors of the Essa Public Library Board are appointed by the Township of Essa Council following the municipal election. Once Council makes the appointment the old Library Board is dissolved and the new Directors form the new Library Board.
